The purpose and function of the Pastoral Council is to assist the Pastor in making decisions for the good of the parish as defined in the mission statement.
The Pastoral Council is made up of a representative from each ministry of the parish. In addition, each ministry will have an alternate available in the event that the representative cannot attend a required meeting. Each ministry present has one vote. Ministries without representation forfeits their vote.
Pastoral Council meetings are open to all members of the parish as observers only. The Pastoral Council meets the first Monday of the month at 6:30 pm in the parish conference room. Notice of the meetings is published in the parish bulletin on the Sunday prior to the meeting.
